Create an Account

Sign up for Yeld to start accepting crypto payments. You'll need a valid email address and a password.

**Steps:**
1. Go to [yeld.app/signup](https://yeld.app/signup)
2. Enter your email address
3. Create a strong password (min 12 characters)
4. Agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
5. Click "Create Account"
6. Verify your email via the confirmation link

**Tips:**
- Use a business email for business accounts
- Enable two-factor authentication after signup
- Store your password in a password manager

After signing up, you'll receive a verification email. Click the link in the email to verify your account.

**If you don't receive the email:**
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Wait up to 5 minutes (email delivery can be delayed)
- Click "Resend verification email" on the signup page
- Ensure you entered the correct email address

**Verification token expires after 24 hours.**

After verifying your email, complete your profile setup:

**Profile Information:**
- Display name (how you appear to customers)
- Business name (if applicable)
- Contact email
- Timezone (for reporting)

**Security Settings:**
- Enable two-factor authentication (recommended)
- Set up backup codes
- Review connected devices

Create a business entity to accept payments. Each business gets its own wallet and dashboard.

**Creating a Business:**
1. Navigate to the dashboard
2. Click "Create Business"
3. Enter business name
4. Select your primary network (Base Sepolia recommended for testing)
5. Click "Create"

**Business Properties:**
- **Biz ID**: Unique identifier (biz_...) used in APIs
- **Owner**: The user who created the business
- **Wallet**: Automatically generated on the selected network
- **Dashboard**: Full management interface

**Personal Account:**
- For individual creators and freelancers
- Single wallet address
- Basic dashboard features

**Business Account:**
- For companies and organizations
- Multiple team members
- Advanced reporting and analytics
- API access

**Admin Access:**
- Full control over the account
- Can manage team members
- Can configure billing and settings
